For the past two decades I have been involved in the Financial Advice business. One thing has held steady the entire time. Every client has asked that “education” be a part of the business relationship. Most of us didn’t have any meaningful real life education about how to invest or how to manage wealth, or how estate planning works, etc.

One result from this lack of education is innocent people being hurt by bad actors in the financial services world – you know – people like Bernie Madoff and the several other people who have floated to the surface like scum during the downturn in the market beginning in Dec. 2007. I have finally come upon a way to do my part to protect Americans from crooks like this. I call it Consumer Protection Through Education.

Capital Markets U.com was born to provide that kind of education. A lot of it will be free through this Virtual Campus. There will be another more formal and detailed curriculum through a premium membership – lets just say we will charge tuition for that part. There will also be publications available for purchase if you find a particular book that looks like it will “scratch you where you itch.”

That concept is very important to me – that is to be sure to provide the kind of information that you want to hear about. Therefore, I encourage your comments to  help with that. We will also do some surveys periodically. Afterall, YOU are the focus of this service. Your opinion matters to me. So, hopefully, we are off to a good long and mutually profitable relationship. I will plan to introduce you to some other trustworthy professionals as “faculty” at Capital Markets U.com.

We will NEVER sell your information and make this some kind of glorified “lead generation” program for financial product salepersons. You can be comfortable with that fact.
